Birthday wish

There is so much that's been going on lately, but I can't even right now.

I think I mentioned in my last post that, at the beginning of the month, I applied for a job in Berlin that I super duper want. Like, I want this job with everything in me. Openings for positions that I am jazzed to apply for do not open up all that often and it's not like I am loving where I am right now, so I would be so excited to have the chance to do work like this.
I did call about a week after I first submitted to make sure they got my application (read: to show interest without coming off as pushy), but I haven't heard anything since then, which was about two weeks ago now. Next Wednesday is my birthday and, what with all the bullshit that's been going on lately, I don't feel like celebrating, but I would be over the moon if I scored an interview for this job. In fact, all I want for my birthday this year is to get an interview.
